Exchange time slots and periods
The SIT network operates 24 hours a day. However, an interval is
reserved for closing the current day and preparing the context for the
next SIT business day.
The organization of the business days is described in the day profiles
drafted as part of the Profession’s decisions regarding posting and
exchange limit times, which are confirmed by the GSIT Management
Committee.
The SIT network is open for exchanges six calendar days a week, with
five settlement days. The SIT business day on Friday generally extends
to cover part of the calendar day on Saturday. The SIT official time and
date (SIT business day) depend on the legal time and date in
metropolitan France (civil day). Using the
FBF calendar, the GSIT
Management Committee determines the calendar of SIT business days for
each civil year.
