For security specifications of an information technology product or system based on two categories: functional specifications (expected security behaviour) and assurance specifications (trust in the security measures intended to be both efficient and effectively implemented).
Note: This represents a merge between several sources (European, North American and Canadian criteria) to resolve conceptual and technical differences and to provide an extension of these criteria in order to contribute to the establishment of an international standard.
