Elementary automated means of payment (and, by extension, ATM withdrawals) or associated related item (rejection, domiciliation rectification request, etc.) exchanged within SIT and giving rise to the creation of a record issued by an issuing Participant in the direction of a receiving Participant. These transactions may be universally acknowledged, partially acknowledged, or universally partially-acknowledged.
The precise characterization of a transaction as per the foregoing paragraph is made by the CFONB (Comité Français d'Organisation et de Normalisation Bancaires-French committee on bank organization and standardization) for conventional transactions, and by the Management Committee of the Groupement des Cartes Bancaires "CB" (creditcard Consortium) for bankcard transactions. For the SIT operations, the transfer order is irrevocable as of the time stamping of the M2 acknowledgement message, pursuant to article L.330-1 III of the Monetary and Financial Code.
