Accounting Centre
The Accounting Centre is a SIT common centre that administers accounting records for the Direct Participants. This centre notably performs the following functions: Receiving accounting messages from Issuing Installations (installations emettrices-IE), Debiting or crediting the sub-accounts of the Issuing and Receiving Installations (installations réceptrices-IR) concerned, Keeping SIT's accounts. These accounts aggregate the IE's and IR's sub-accounts, Maintaining up-to-date statistics and keeping accounting records of interbank commissions. The centre is designed for maximum availability and to supply all necessary data required to resume station traffic after a breakdown.
