The Management Centre oversees the network, ensures software compatibility, protects the system and maintains security.
Its role therefore comprises ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of SIT, implementing standby systems if one of the installations goes down, administering SIT close-of-day cut-offs (refresher periods and suspension), integration of new software versions, management of Direct Participants' profiles and their implementation in the network, detection and rectification of anomalies (tracking alerts).
